In Pain Sight is a play collaboratively written by Noah Simon, Cujo the Poet, EJ Tree, Kinetic Noetic and Miriam Brabham.
Funded by the Green Bay Public Arts Commission along with many generous civilian donors, the piece examines homelessness and housing insecurity from a variety of perspectives. It takes a look at the issues that contribute to the problem, those victimized by it, and those working hard to provide solutions.
While the play is inspired by true events and true stories related by people experiencing homelessness or involved in helping those who are, this fictional tale takes the audience on a journey following multiple characters whose stories unfold to reveal just how close to home this issue is to all of us.
Local community resources will be on site after each performance to answer questions and give you any info you might like from services they provide to how you can get involved and make a difference!
DAY-OF DETAILS: The parking lot is located on the West Side of the building. Enter the theatre from Walnut Street. In order to make these performances accessible to anyone in the community we have decided to adopt a "pay-what-you-can" ticket price with a suggestion of $20. Perhaps this performance is worth more to you or you'd like to help cover the expenses of those unable to pay full price? We welcome that! Proceeds will support actors/producers/stage hands and any additional profits will be donated directly to The Micah Center - a shelter of last resort here in Green Bay.
If you pre-purchased tickets, please have your confirmation email ready as you enter for Will Call.
